Bhangarh fort




Bhangarh Fort is a 16th-century fort built in the Rajasthan state of India. It was built by Bhagwant Das for his younger son Madho Singh.
 The town was established during the rule of Bhagwant Das as the residence of his second son, Madho Singh.According to legend, a sadhu lived within the fort area, and according to his injunction, any house built in the precinct of the fort should not be taller than his own, and if the shadow of any such house fell on his house, it would result in destruction of the fort and surrounding towns.

There are several ways to get to Bhangarh Fort.You can take a train from Delhi to Dausa, which is the nearest railway station to Bhangarh Fort. Indian Railways operates a train from Delhi to Dausa every 4 hours.

Is it haunted?

Bhangarh Fort is known as one of the most haunted places in India. There are several legends and stories associated with the fort that contribute to its reputation as a haunted place.  Another story tells of a black magician who fell in love with a princess from the fort town and attempted to use a love potion to win her affection. However, the princess dodged his moves by flinging the potion onto a boulder, which then rolled down toward the magician, physically crushing him.
